Last Remaining Seats (LRS) is the Los Angeles Conservancy’s annual series of classic films and live entertainment in historic theatres. It takes place over several weeks each summer, typically in June. What started in 1987 as a way to draw attention to L.A.’s historic theatres is now a summer tradition!
Conservancy members can purchase tickets during the members-only pre-sale, which begins Wednesday, April 9, at 10 a.m. General public sales start Wednesday, April 16th, at 10 a.m.
Members must be logged in to access member presales and discounts.
For single screening events:
- Member Admission: $20 (up to four tickets)
- Youth Admission (ages 17 and under): $10
- General Admission: $25
Member, youth, and general admission tickets for single screenings purchased at the door are $25 each.
For the double-feature event:
- Member Admission: $30 (up to four tickets)
- Youth Admission (ages 17 and under): $15
- General Admission: $35
Member, youth, and general admission tickets for the double feature purchased at the door are $35 each.
For 2025 LRS Series Pass:
The 2025 LRS Series Pass is $75 for members and $100 for the general public. Only a limited number of series passes are available for purchase, and there is no youth rate for the pass.
The prices above are flat fees. There are no additional fees associated with ticket purchases.
Yes, group sales start at $20 per ticket for groups of 12 or more. For group sales, please email Alex Inshisian at ainshishian@laconservancy.org.
The 2025 LRS Series Pass includes admission to all five screening events in June 2025 (matinee and evening screenings on June 7 and 21 and the double-feature on June 14). Tickets for each screening will be held at will-call and are transferable.
You can buy up to four tickets per screening at the member price and unlimited tickets at the general public price. If you’re a Cornerstone member, you can buy up to eight tickets per screening at the member price, but you can buy only four of them online (for more, contact the office at info@laconservancy.org or 213-623-2489).
There are no printed tickets for this event. You will receive your digital tickets a week before the film screening. If you do not receive your tickets by the Wednesday before your screening, please email info@laconservancy.org.
Yes, tickets are transferable. Most tickets will be delivered by email closer to the screening date.
Will-call tickets will be held under the original purchaser’s name.
We do not provide ticket refunds or exchanges. If you attend a screening and have an extra ticket, we would gladly welcome you to return it to the Conservancy for resale. If you buy a ticket but don’t attend the screening, we will gratefully accept your purchase as a donation. If you would like to gift your ticket to someone else, simply forward the ticket via email.
Yes, all performances are general seating, except for a limited number of seats reserved for Last Remaining Seats sponsors and for Los Angeles Conservancy Cornerstone members (Granite levels and above).
Members enjoy early entry to theatres.

Parking is available at various rates in surface lots near theatres; there’s also a limited amount of metered street parking.
Yes, we encourage you to use public transportation to Last Remaining Seats screenings. The Broadway theatres are conveniently located near the Pershing Square station at Fifth and Hill Streets, the Historic Broadway station at 2nd Street and Broadway, and the 7th Steet Metro Center station. For details on how to take the Metro Rail or busses to Last Remaining Seats, visit metro.net.
We welcome families to Last Remaining Seats! If your child is under two years old, you can opt not to purchase a ticket for them provided they are on your lap for the duration of the film.
If your child is two or older, you will need to purchase a separate ticket, and they will need to sit in their own seat. Youth tickets (ages 17 and under) are $10 each for single screenings and $15 for the double-feature.
Doors open one hour before the show starts. Typically, the doors open one hour before the screening time. The program usually lasts between two and three hours.
Due to theatre policy, ticket holders cannot enter the theatres (the lobby or the auditorium) before the doors open. If you arrive early, you will have to stand in line outside the theatre. There are two lines: the Conservancy member line and the general public line. The Conservancy member line will enter the theatre before the general public line.
No outside food or beverages (with the exception of water) are allowed inside any of the theatres. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase on-site.
Yes, photography of the theatres is permitted before and after screenings. Professional photography is not allowed. Please, no photos during the screenings.
- The Orpheum Theatre is wheelchair accessible for both restrooms and seating and can provide an assisted listening device upon advance request. Please contact the Conservancy at (213) 623-2489 at least twenty-four hours before your visit to arrange for this device.
- The United Theater on Broadway is wheelchair accessible for both restrooms and seating, and can provide assisted listening devices upon request; no advance arrangement needed.
- The Million Dollar Theatre has limited wheelchair accessibility, and the restroom facilities with in the theatre are not wheelchair accessible. No assisted listening devices are available.
The Orpheum and United Theater on Broadway have air conditioning, while the Million Dollar does not. Please check the weather and prepare accordingly.
The films are chosen through a thorough voting process by our volunteer LRS Committee.

Film Lineup Announcement and Member Presale Begin April 9
The L.A. Conservancy is thrilled to announce Last Remaining Seats‘ return to L.A.’s Broadway historic theatre district with screenings at The Orpheum, The Million Dollar, and, for the first time in seven years, the United Theater on Broadway (formerly the United Artists Theatre)!
Members enjoy discounted tickets and early access to matinee and evening screenings, the double feature, behind-the-scenes theatre tours, and our new 2025 LRS Series Pass for all screenings! Sales will be open to the general public starting April 16th.
